DAY 6

On this particular day, there were new students from SACS who arrived at the Health Center as it was the start of their Work Immersion Period. It was an important day in which we took on the responsibility of showing them around the health center and teaching them the tasks that we usually do. As Monday progressed, the pace of activity remained fairly steady, allowing us to provide a thorough introduction to our responsibilities. We primarily assisted patients with their medications, focusing on those with high blood pressure, those addressing family planning, and adorable children in need of vitamins.

The relaxed atmosphere provided an ideal opportunity to walk the newcomers through our routine. As we completed our tasks, we took the time to explain the significance of each in the grand scheme of healthcare. It felt like a hands-on lesson, demonstrating the practical application of what they would acquire during class.

Amid it all, we took inventory of the medications in the center. It might not sound glamorous, but it's a vital part of keeping things running smoothly. It also provided newcomers with a behind-the-scenes look at healthcare management.

As the day ended, it became clear just how important these immersion programs were for all involved. Every interaction, and each task, provided an opportunity for us to learn and grow together. With each passing day, we are not only honing our skills but also forming strong bonds within our healthcare community, all of whom share a common goal of making a positive difference.
